Nikkei 225 been truly impressive to watch (if you ask me) the latest 1.5 years. And it´s remarkable strive to reach the final 20R barrier in the STRUCTURE indicator. Which isn´t that common to reach.
There´s a reason for it being the last barrier…
But then to see a distinct change in behavior from 2025-06-23 and forward to today.
Where Nikkei 225 has 6 occurences of long structures fired where we see the final 20R. And prior to 2025-06-23, we had 1 occurence. Fired… 2024-06-18. June again. But that´s not the only thing that interests me.
What interests me most is the behavior change. And the fact that if we look at the 6 occurences, they all have a profound respect for the 20R upon first encounter. And reverses abruptly.
Using the 1hr timeframe. No changing of parameters. Automatically fired and automatically sized as the structure isn´t a fixed metric like percentages.
Conclusion?
Nikkei 225 truly changed behavior in 2024-06. To a more bull driven one with more endurance in the moves.
Bouncing off on the bigger 5,10,15 (yellow ones) barriers nicely.
But really really doesn´t like the final 20R barrier…
